An Unjust Peace
War of the Submarine Book 11
Coming soon Cover 3D Mock

An Armistice has ended World War III—but can it last?

Horrified by the impact of a nuclear torpedo off the coast of Norfolk, Virginia, the warring powers have signed an armistice. For the first time in three years, the world is at peace…but no one is satisfied. Americans remain furious; Russia refuses to pay reparations for the nuclear strike and the tens of thousands of deaths it caused. France and India demand international acknowledgement of the status quo, granting them sovereignty over captured territory and people who want nothing to do with “their” new nations. No one is shooting, but the world still holds its breath. There is nothing easy about this peace.

Meanwhile, Captain Alex Coleman is juggling his return from supposed death and the trauma leftover from his treatment as a prisoner of war. He’s the government’s star witness in the first treason trial in almost a century, and worse, one of his captors keeps sending him horrific messages—and threatening to make the details of what happened to Alex and his fellow prisoners public.

At heart, Alex is a submarine commander, but he knows the navy will never take the risk of putting him in command again, especially during peacetime. He should be satisfied with the two submarines he’s commanded. Alex However, as the silk threads holding the armistice together begin to fray, and war becomes the U.S. Navy turns to their top submarine captain once again.

But hardship and pain change people. Should Alex take command of another submarine? If he cracks, what then?

An Unjust Peace continues the story of War of the Submarine and the people who face the worst the world has to offer—and fight their way out.
